The collection consists of three items: photograph of Hubbard on horseback, clipped from one of his journals, The Fra or The Philistine, in 1915; letter from Edward J. Shay on Elbert Hubbard's stationery to Lorraine Mfg. Co., 20 July 1915, relating that Hubbard went down on the Lusitania, but the Roycrofters will continue with Hubbard's work, and asking for information about their business; article on Hubbard by Frederick Lewis Allen, circa 1938, from Scribner's, describing Hubbard's career and legacy, incomplete.
